Whenever I see someone say something extraordinarily smart on my timeline, I Google the phrase to see where it has been plagiarised from.

Hehe. Well, 9 out of 10 copy without giving credit. Those who give credit, might not get credit of giving credit so it keeps on going.
But there are actually some genuine people and some who "steal but don't copy".
