I started JobsMedia.in started in mid-2007 as a simple blogspot. It is now fully managed by my wife, Pragyan Mohanty. It was the first-of-its-kind website in India. It allowed information about job openings in media and communication to be simply mailed to us without hindrances from middle-men and elaborate hiring procedures.
Since its inception, JobsMedia has registered over 455,000 absolute unique users, millions of page views, and has provided employment to countless job-seekers, apart from being massively useful to employers for its simplicity.
Man Bites DogMan Bites Dog is an automated (and occasionally curated) Facebook page and Twitter stream. It is powered by a mashed-up RSS feed which pulls the best off-beat and human-interest news links from leading news sources around the world.
The name is inspired by the first lesson taught in journalism schools: that a man biting is a dog is a more newsworthy event than a dog biting a man.
